Biography
中国のプロギタリスト&ミュージシャン、プロデューサー、作曲家、ギター愛好家。
音楽家の家系にて生まれ、3歳から高名なピアニストの元でピアノを習い始める。16歳の頃ロックの魅力に目覚め、独学でギターを弾き始める。
以降実力が認められ、00年代には中国のいくつかのミュージシャン発掘番組において音楽ディレクターの座を勤める。2009年にインストバンド、 「Solo Party」を結成。数々の野外フェスティバルに出場。2013年には世界で最も人気のあるリアリティＴＶショーの一つ、「The X factor」の中国版において、音楽ディレクターとライブ演奏を担当。幅広いフィールドで活躍している。
Xiao Ye, Born in October 1981,came from a musical family, A Professional Musician,Producer&Composer,Guitar Virtuoso. He started learning piano when he was 3 years old under Mr.Yuanzhen Zhu, a famous pianoist&educator in China.
He start playing the guitar in 1997, totally self-taught.The rock’n roll style music inspired him a lot in early days. Formed the band”Mantis Arm” in 1999. Took up the post of the music director&live guitar of“Superman”—a famous music talent show in China nowadays in 2003&2007.
Took up the post of the music director&live guitar of“Supergirl”—a famous music talent show in China nowadays in 2004&2006(After the big success of the Superman talent show the TV station present the girl’s version.)
Formed the instrumental band”Solo Party” in 2009, flourished in most of the Music festivals in China.
Took up the post of the music director&live guitar of”The X Fator”—the hottest music show today in China in 2013.

Bacchusのことを初めて知ったのは4年くらい前です。スタジオでレコーディングセッションをしていたときにベーシストが使っていたのが Bacchusのベースで、その作りの良さと音質が印象的でした。軽くてモダンな音がするし、ジャズベースの進化系の一種だと思いました。ちょうどその時に取り組んでいた曲に最適なサウンドでしたね。
その後、Bacchusの中国代理店からBCG(*Bacchusの海外向けライン) EMPIRE customを譲ってもらいました。沢山のハイエンドギターを今までに弾いてきましたが、その中でもトップレベルです。ホンジュラスマホガニーのボディは とても軽くて、反応と鳴りがすばらしいです。アバロンのインレイ、バインディング、フレットの処理など、その細部まで拘った作りの良さは私が長年求めてき たものであり感動しました。プレイヤーが求めているものをよく理解していると思いました。その後でGlobalシリーズのGS-001を試しましたが、値段がリーズナブルなのにも関わらず非常に高品質で、ビギナーのみならずプロミュージシャンにも使える楽器だと思います。スリムで滑らかなネック、ちょうど良い指板Ｒ、同じように優れたフレット処理の良さなど、演奏性がとても良いです。
I heard about Bacchus for the first time for about four years ago.I was doing a recording session in a studio and the bassist used a Bacchus bass for the recording. My first impression of this bass is supreme quality and resonance,pretty light weight. it’s some kind of evolutional jazz bass and the sound is more modern than a traditional Jazz bass which is more suitable for the song that we worked for.
Lately I got the Bacchus Empire Custom guitar from the local distributor and I was so impressed by every detail of this guitar.I played a lot of high end guitar and I can say this Bacchus Empire Custom can exceed most of them. The super light weight Honduran Mahogany body has an incredible response and tone.Amazing tone wood indeed. The abalone leaves inlays,bindings, fret works every detail is what I wanted for years.The luthier really knows everything that a player demands. After this guitar I tried the Global series model–GS-001 because sometimes I want a cheaper guitar to practice.Well I just want to say this cheaper GS-001 is a real deal one for both the pro-musicians and the beginners.
It has a very nice neck shape,smooth and slimmer.The fretboard radius is just OK for me and the fret works is really good.
