Hisayuki Motoishi (Mardelas)
Biography
He started playing bass guitar in high school because of his admiration for X JAPAN.
Started doing serious live performances in Fukuoka in 2001.
Became popular as an O.A member of Onmyoza, Concerto Moon, X.Y.Z.→A, and others.
Joined the heavy metal band SCREAMING SYMPHONY in 2004.
Moved to Tokyo in 2006, and did a lot of live performances not only in Japan but also in the U.S. and Korea.
In 2017, he joined Mardelas, a member of King Record’s Nexus label.
Released two albums and plans to release a new album in 2022
He has also performed in Germany and the UK, and he’s highly acclaimed all around the globe.

“I purchased this bass in 2019.
I was looking for a new bass with a maple fingerboard to broaden my sound range.
The maple fretboard has a characteristic bright sound with a quick attack, and I like the way the 5th string sounds strong even when tuned down a semitone.
The sound of the body itself is also very good, and I can feel that even the smallest parts have been produced with care.
I have been using it for both live performances and recordings since I purchased it, and it has been highly evaluated by the people around me, making it one that I cannot let go of.
