Nathan Aweau
Biography
Born into a musical family in Hawaii, he learned piano, guitar, ukulele, and saxophone as a teenager, and his talents quickly blossomed during his school years. He began his professional music career in earnest during his college years. He joined Don Ho’s band as a bass player and made his solo debut in 1996.
He got his big break in 2001 with his 3rd album “E Apo Mai”. He won the main title of “Best Male Vocalist” and “Song of the Year” at the “Na Hoku Hanohano Awards” in Hawaii.

I’ve been using a 7 string bass for the past 20 years. Oneday, I was invited to the Deviser instrument showroom. While there I played an STR 7 string bass and was so amazed with the beauty, craftsmanship and mostly the sound of the instrument that I quickly fell in love with it. I had to have it! Proudly I now own one and I hope to pick up another one in the near future. Well done Satoru San
