A new model, the “WJB-1DX RSM/M” is coming to the popular Bacchus Universe Series!
The new entry-level model offers playability and a new color lineup specially designed for this model, bringing a new twist to the series.

WJB shape body & roasted maple
The body adopts the slim shape of Bacchus’ always-popular WOODLINE models. The slightly smaller downsized body is designed to be easy to hold and handle.
The neck and fingerboard are made of roasted maple. This material is heated at high temperatures to volatilize the moisture and oils in the wood, and in doing this, increasing its rigidity and producing a rich, clean sound and a vintage-like, aged, cozy tone.
※The degree of color variation due to the roasting process and the grain of the maple used may vary from unit to unit.
Heel-less cut
The main feature of this model is the “heel-less cut” on the heel. This is a specification that enables smooth fingering even when playing in the higher frets, and is a feature often found on high-end models.
A slight contour in the bolt area further enhances playability.
Stainless Steel Frets
The frets are made of stainless steel with excellent wear resistance. The hardness of stainless steel frets is higher than that of nickel silver frets, which is a common material used for frets, and the fret crests are not easily worn away, allowing for quite a long period of use.
Stainless steel frets are known for their articulation in terms of sound, and are characterized by a clear tone.
Varied color lineup
Another appeal of this model is its rich color lineup. The lineup has been designed for this model, and the lineup ranges from standard colors to metallic colors.
The inspirations behind the New Colors
As the name indicates, this color is inspired by the idea of a misty dawn scenery. It is a dignified piece that looks as if it has quietly but resolutely appeared in the silence of the dawn, shrouded in fog.
Sea Foam Blue, as the name suggests, is inspired by the sea foam lapping at the edge of the waves. The pop coloring makes it look as if polka dots and bubbles are dancing in the waves that come and go.
French Green Metallic is inspired by the body color of vintage cars as seen in movies. The bass sound produced by the model becomes the sound of the engine, partnering and accompanying you on your journey to new music.
Indigo is a color between blue and violet on the color charts. Indigo Purple Metallic expresses a beautiful color reminiscent of the sky at sunset, while the sun is still illuminating the scenery.
Ice Blue Metallic is a color that imitates drifting icebergs in the sea, or the ice in the Arctic. This model in particular captures the look of the ice in its cold but beautiful hue, from a clear, transparent ice block.
