Two new DELUXE guitars featuring stainless steel frets and modern specs are now available in the Bacchus Universe Series!

The Universe Series, which has been well-received for its high playability and specifications that approach those of higher-end models, now introduces two new electric guitar models that focus on delivering what the modern player needs.

Deluxe specs with a variety of great features

As the name Deluxe, or “DX” implies, this model features modern specifications that have never been seen before in this series. In addition to the use of stainless steel frets, which is rare for an entry-level model, the neck joint is heel-less cut, adding new elements to both sound and playing comfort.

Stainless steel frets

Stainless steel frets are used, which are more abrasion-resistant than standard nickel frets. The effect is also demonstrated in terms of sound, producing a clear, articulate tone.

Heel-less cut

Instead of the common neck plate joint between the body and neck, the whole area is contoured and features a heel-less cut joint. This improves playability in the high position and enables smoother fingering.

Side jack

The output jack is located on the side of the body for easy handling on stage.

Coil tap switch

A coil tap switch that expands the range of sound making is included as standard issue. A mini-switch allows switching and output of a single-coil tone in the rear position depending on the playing style.

Roasted maple neck that has become a Bacchus staple

The popular roasted maple neck, a new Bacchus standard, is also used in this model. The heat treatment not only makes the neck highly stable and resistant to warping, but also produces a sharp attack sound with a good sustain.

Easy-to-hold body shape and two pickup arrangements

The body shape follows the downsized shape inherited from the high-end “G-STUDIO” model. It features a slightly slimmer body designed to be easy to hold. In addition to the standard S-S-H pickups, two models equipped with H-S-H pickups are available to cover a wide range of sounds and accommodate various styles of music.

GS-2DX RSM/M

GS-2DX RSM/M uses S-S-H specifications for practical use. With a humbucker in the rear position, the GS-2DX RSM/M is highly compatible with higher gain amp settings and distortion pedals.

GS-4DX RSM/M

Its sibling, the GS-4DX RSM/M, incorporates the H-S-H style for even greater tone-making versatility. When coil-tapped, the front and rear humbuckers are tapped, producing four different tones for each position.
