New -BARON- models with P-90-type pickups join the Bacchus Global Series!

New models with P-90 type pickups have been added to the -BARON- family, which features their characteristic TL-type body but with an archtop body top! Two new models are now available, the -BARON-STD/S- with a retro feel and the -BARON-CTM Alnico- enveloped in a retro-modern guitar aura!

P-90 type pickups on both models

「STP-5」

The “STP-5” in both models uses Alnico 5 magnets and metal braided wires for wiring. The STP-5 features a bright, sweet, and warm tone characteristic of single-coil pickups. The covers were also selected to match the atmosphere of the models, with the “BARON-STD/S” using a metal cover and the “BARON-CTM Alnico” using a black cover.

「STP-Alnico」

The -BARON-CTM Alnico- is equipped with the “STP-Alnico” in the neck position. This pickup shares the same features as the “STP-5” in that it uses Alnico 5 magnets and metal braided wire wiring, but it also features staple-shaped polepieces that are reminiscent of vintage pickups. In terms of sound, it has a natural tone with a slight acoustic resonance.

-BARON-STD/S- with an eye-catching retro-modern feel

The “BARON-STD/S” features a retro-modern look with metal-covered pickups and body coloring, and is also available in four different colors.

-BARON-CTM Alnico- with a premium look and feel

The -BARON-CTM Alnico- features binding around the perimeter of the body and a “STP-Alnico” pickup with staple-shaped polepieces. The hardware is unified in gold from the pole pieces to the mounting screws, accentuating the high-end feel.

What are the “BARON” models anyway?

Launched in 2024 as part of the Bacchus Global Series, this model is based on the TL type body shape and uses the following three common specifications.

Arched body top

The most distinctive feature of this guitar is its arched body top. The softness and warmth of the gentle curves of the body top give the guitar a different feel from that of a flat-top guitar.

Medium scale

The so-called medium scale of 628mm (24.75inch), with slightly narrower fret spacing than the common single-cut models, is adopted for the BARON models. The bolt-on type neck construction also makes it possible to enjoy smooth playing even at the higher frets.

TOM-type bridge

Equipped with a TOM-type bridge that transmits string vibration more directly to the body. The pickup selector is equipped with a toggle switch that allows you to instantly switch to your favorite sound.
