Archtop model “BARON” overflowing with character
The BARON models from the Bacchus Global series deliver a new playing experience. This new lineup mixes traditional specifications with a streamlined archtop body.
Archtop body
The most distinctive feature of this series is the arched body top. Compared to flat-top electric guitars, the arched body top enhances the grain and color of the top wood.
Spruce top
The JAZZ model features a semi-hollow construction with an f-hole, putting an emphasis on a more acoustic feel. Spruce is used for acoustic guitars as well as violins, so it was used for this model as well. It is characterized by its soft woody texture and contributes to a rich, clean sound.
Nato body
The nato body with its moderate weight provides a good sense of balance when playing standing up. The herringbone-style binding around the perimeter of the body and the unasuming coloring give the instrument a calm atmosphere.
Medium scale
This model features a “medium” scale of 628mm (24.75 inches), with slightly narrower fret spacing than the common single-cut models. The bolt-on type neck construction also makes it easy to bend even at high frets.
TOM bridge & toggle switch
Equipped with a TOM-type bridge that transmits string vibration more efficiently to the body. The pickup selector is equipped with a toggle switch that allows you to instantly switch to your favorite sound setting.
Setup by our Japanese specialized inspection department
All instruments are inspected and set up in a specialized inspection department at the Deviser headquarters in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, before being shipped for retail. By identifying individual differences in the wood, we adjust and finish each instrument evenly to provide players with a solid playing experience that feels comfortable straight out of the box.
