Introduction

Entry-level model with superb playability

From the entry line Universe Serie, created with the technology and experience cultivated in the Handmade Series, comes the new -BPB-1DX RSM/M- model, which combines modern specs and traditional looks. The stainless steel frets and heel-less cut of the neck joint common to the Deluxe, or “DX” models provide playability that is similar to that of higher-end models.

Stainless steel frets

Stainless steel frets are used for their superb wear resistance and good articulation. The jumbo-size frets allow for smooth string pressing and extended sustain, making it suitable for a wide range of genres.

Heel-less cut

Heel-less cut, which is rare for an entry-level model, enables smooth fingering even when playing at higher frets. The slight contouring on the bush bolt area also enhances playability.

Plentiful color variations

In addition to standard body colors such as black and white, the lineup includes carefully selected metallic and pastel colors. With a wide range of variations, you can choose the color that better matches your playing style.

Roasted maple neck

■About roasted maple

Roasted Maple is a material that comes as a result of treating Maple wood with a high heat process, volatilizing the water and oils in the wood, giving as a result a more sturdy and durable wood that not only increases stability but also the overall sound quality of the material. The sound that we get from Roasted Maple is a rich, organic sound with a vintage-like tone that is reminiscent of an instrument that has aged its sound with time and usage. This is a new product lineup of Bacchus that puts this amazing feature, which is often used in high-end models, at a reasonable price range.

※The degree of color change due to the roasting process and the grain of the maple may vary from unit to unit.
