A new tonewood -Coffee Tree-

The sides and back of this model are made of Coffee Tree wood, which is native to the Middle East of the United States. Coffee Tree is a rare wood that is both hard and lightweight and is characterized by a light tone with a quick response.
As some of you may know, coffee trees for beverage use, which are mainly known to originate from Brazil and Cuba, are quite thin and do not grow large.
As one can tell just by looking at them, they are by no means trees that can be used for guitar-making.
However, the “Coffee Tree” used for this guitar is from the mid-eastern United States, and grows larger and looks different from the coffee trees that are widely used for beverages today.
Originally, Native Americans used the beans from the Coffee Tree for food and drink. European settlers, who were coffee drinkers, saw this Native American custom and roasted the beans as an alternative to their coffee and from that, also named this tree “Coffee Tree”.

Cafe Latte Taste

The fun of choosing a taste according to personal tastes is the greatest appeal of coffee and coffee guitars.
For this coffee guitar, we have prepared two tastes, CLB (Cafe Latte Burst) and FBK (Deep Roasted Black).
Different tastes offer different guitar specifications, allowing the player to obtain a tone and style that suits his or her tastes.
This model has a sweet and mellow café latte taste.

Cafe Latte Burst

The “Cafe Latte Burst” color, exclusive to this model, gives a milkiness like that of a cafe latte, while taking advantage of the natural texture of the relatively white coffee wood.

The position marks, which resemble a coffee bean, don’t stand out too much but still have a playful feel to it.
It has a look that blends in with everyday life and makes you want to play it on your coffee break.

’34 Semi-forward shifted, Scalloped X Bracing

Headway master builder Yasuo Momose has adopted the 34-bracing layout, which he has found to be the most responsive based on his recent production experience. The soft overtones that respond to even the most delicate touch are combined with the hard and light characteristics of the coffee tree, resulting in a robust tone, but with the sweetness and warmth like that of a café latte.
