Introduction
For 2018, Headway Ukulele will be producing two limited edition ukuleles, one made of cherry wood and the other made of Koa wood. The ukuleles will be available in soprano and concert sizes, and we plan to make 20 of each.
The HUC-SAKURA’18 is a concert-size ukulele with a cherry wood body.
The fretboard, bridge, headstock top, and pickguard are made of Purple Heartwood. The inlay on the pickguard is a new design with a cherry blossom motif.
The machineheads are GOTOH’s Stealth Key/STS31. It is the world’s smallest and lightest ultra-compact machineheads with a good balance between the instrument body and headstock , making it easy to handle.
