Introduction
An updated Momose original『MJS』
A fan favorite that has been requested for years is back. Returning to the Momose Original Series is the MJS (Momose Jazz Style)
Revamped preset panel contents
①Series/Parallel Switch
A “Series/Parallel Switch” is used where there is normally a preset ON/OFF switch.
When the switch is on the right side, the pickups are connected in parallel, and the front PU and rear PU can be switched by the selector, just like a standard guitar.
When the switch is in the left position, the series connection is made, connecting the front PU and rear PU and increasing the output.
The large-size single coil pickup can now be switched to a thicker, rounder humbucker-like tone for an even more versatile sound.
*When the series connection is used, the selector switch will not work, but the various knobs can be used normally.
②High-pass Filter
A “High-pass Filter” is installed at the preset volume position.
When the pot is fully turned, the high-frequency range is passed, but when the pot is turned down, the high-frequency range is not passed.
This makes it possible to create a sound that calms the characteristic high-frequency tone of the JM model.
③Low-pass Filter
A “Low-pass Filter” is installed at the preset tone position.
When the pot is turned fully up, the low-frequency range is passed, but when the pot is turned down, the low-frequency range is not passed.
Standard MS type saddle that prevents the strings from drooping down
This model comes standard with an MS-type saddle, which prevents the strings from drooping down. In addition to high tuning stability, deep low-mid resonance and long sustain can be obtained in terms of sound.
