Introduction

The long-awaited revival of the Rosetta Vessel!

The “Rosetta” series, which was only manufactured for a short period of time in the mid-2000s, will be revived for the first time in 14 years to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Deviser, at the Deviser Grand Opening in 2021. The Rosetta series will be produced in a limited edition of only 12 pieces, with brushed-up specifications in various parts.

Limited edition quilted mahogany top body for the Deviser Special Showcase

This special 30th-anniversary model features a moderately grained quilted mahogany top. A non-buffed faded cherry finish was applied to the mahogany to bring out the best of the mahogany grain.
The hollow-structured body makes it lightweight enough to enable you to play for long hours.

Mojotone P-90 Classic & Hot Rod pickups

P-90 type pickups from Mojotone, an American hand-wired pickup manufacturer, are used. The bridge position is a slightly higher output Hot Rod model to balance with the neck pickup. It has both an edgy attack and a rounded, warm tone, making it useful in a wide range of situations.

Side position by luminous material Luminray

The position marks on the fingerboard side have been made of luminescent material since the original 2000s model, but for this re-release, “Luminray” with higher luminescence performance was used. This is a feature that is very popular among players that wish to play at live performances, where the stage is often dark for production purposes.

“Deviser Special Specification” Headstock logo

We have reproduced the hand-drawn logo that was also used in the 2000s. The black lines, which are also placed around the perimeter of the body, accentuate the design on the headstock as well.
The truss rod adjustment groove has been extended to the wider size used in the Momose brand, making rod adjustment easier and allowing the truss rod nut to be replaced for a more user-friendly upgrade.

Produced by craftsman Yuji Takatori

Yuji Takatori, the craftsman who was in charge of making the original Rosetta model in the 2000s, was tasked once again with the making of the re-release model as well.
He is now in charge of the woodworking department at the factory and is also in charge of making highly technical guitars for the Momose brand and others. He commented on the reissue in the article below.
