Introduction
Sakura Guitar’s 10th Anniversary
Our Sakura wood guitars began with a single ukulele built in 2014. Headway has been working with this wood, which has a different sound and quality than imported wood, with the knowledge and skills we have gained over the years of making guitars. This year, Headway celebrates its 10th anniversary and has created a special model with the hope that it will take another leap forward and spread its wings to the world.
Limited color: Thulite
Among the various colors of zoisite, such as green, blue, purple, and yellow, pink and red colors are called thulite. It is said that the name “thulite” comes from “Thule”, a legendary island at the end of the world in Norse mythology, and that it was believed to be a stone with special powers.
It is said to be a gemstone that nurtures a positive and forward-looking spirit with ties to “Healing”, “Compassion”, and “Intelligence”.
Sakura body top that brings out the charm of semi-hollow bodies
The ROSETTEE has a TL-type body and a unique semi-hollow construction. This model uses cherry wood for the top wood, which has great midrange, and features a sweet tone that goes well with the semi-hollow body.
25-inch scale that produces an exquisite sense of tension
A 25″ scale is adopted for this model, which is between the so-called “long scale (25 1/2″)” and “medium scale (24 3/4″)”. The slightly looser tension than one might expect from the body shape and bolt-on construction creates a unique “loose” feel. This guitar is also recommended for players who feel that long-scale guitars have too much tension and make choking difficult.
Handwritten-style headstock logo
The headstock will feature the original logo in a rustic handwritten style and a single point on the headstock made of the same wood as the body top. Also, the truss rod adjustment groove has been widened for easier rod adjustment beginning with the 2021 redesign of the Rosetta Vessel. The truss rod nut can also be replaced, making it more user-friendly.
