Introduction
Roasted Maple Neck
■What is the Roasted Maple?
Roasted Maple is a material that comes as a result of treating Maple wood with a high heat process, volatilizing the water and oils in the wood, giving as a result a more sturdy and durable wood that not only increases stability but also the overall sound quality of the material. The sound that we get from Roasted Maple is a rich, organic sound with a vintage-like tone that is reminiscent of an instrument that has aged its sound with time and usage. This is a new product lineup of Bacchus that puts this amazing feature, which is often used in high-end models, at a reasonable price range.
※Due to variations in the wood grain and roasting process each model can look slightly different from the reference pictures.
Roasted maple, which has undergone a high-temperature heat treatment, not only gets improved resistance to the warping of the neck, but also has an advantage in sound quality.
24F specification and stainless steel jumbo frets for technical play
“As the name suggests, the TACTICS24 has 24 frets.
The frets are made of stainless steel jumbo frets. These frets are harder than strings, so there is less deterioration over years of use.
Heel cut processing to support high fret play
The neck joint has a heel cut applied to it.
The joint plate has been eliminated to create a natural shape that fits your hand and does not feel uncomfortable when playing at the high frets.
Locking Tuner
The Locking Tuner is equipped with a mechanism where the rod in the string post rises when the wheel on the back of the machinehead is turned, and locks into place when the string is pinched.
By reducing the number of windings on the string post, the tuning stability is dramatically increased.
The mechanism also has the advantage of reducing the amount of time needed to change strings and reducing tension shake, since it does not require strings to be as wound.
Wilkinson 2-stud tremolo unit
A standard tremolo unit uses six screws to support the bridge, but this model uses the Wilkinson/WVS50IIK tremolo unit, which has two fulcrum studs on each side.
The tremolo unit has a wide range of motion during arming play, with a down motion of approximately 1.25 notes and an up motion of approximately 1 note.
In addition, even if the tension fluctuates during arming, only two points are loaded, which makes tuning more stable than with a tremolo unit supported by six points.
TUSQ nut for maximum sound output
The nut is the world standard “Graphtech TUSQ nut”, which is used by top class luthiers and manufacturers.
The TUSQ nut is designed to transmit the vibrations of the strings from the body to the bridge without wasting energy, and to produce a rich sound from highs to lows and even overtones.
The TUSQ nut also allows the strings to slide easily, which contributes to the stability of tuning.。
2 humbuckers + coil tap switch
Equipped with two humbuckers for the pickups.
It is characterized by a round and powerful sound that is closer to the bass, and can be expected to produce a sound with a strong presence even when clean.
In addition, the humbuckers have a noise-resistant structure, which makes them a perfect match for heavy distortions such as distortion and metal.
This is a specification that can be used in any genre.
A coil tap switch is a switch that cancels the signal from one coil of a humbucker pickup, which consists of two coils in a row, and allows only the signal from the other coil to be transmitted.
This allows you to have the sound of only one coil, i.e., like a single coil.
As mentioned above, humbuckers are characterized by a round and powerful sound that is closer to the bass, but by using the coil tap switch, it is possible to produce a crisp and delicate sound just like a single coil.
