Introduction

ROASTED MAPLE SERIES

Roasted Maple is a material that comes as a result of treating Maple wood with a high heat process, volatilizing the water and oils in the wood, giving as a result a more sturdy and durable wood that not only increases stability but also the overall sound quality of the material. The sound that we get from Roasted Maple is a rich, organic sound with a vintage-like tone that is reminiscent of an instrument that has aged its sound with time and usage. This is a new product lineup of Bacchus that puts this amazing feature, which is often used in high-end models, at a reasonable price range.

※Due to variations in the wood grain and roasting process each model can look slightly different from the reference pictures.

Roasted Maple Neck

Roasted maple, which has undergone a high-temperature heat treatment, not only gets improved resistance to the warping of the neck, but also has an advantage in sound quality.

33 inch scale length

Constructed with a 33″ scale length, which is slightly shorter than most basses.
The tension is slightly looser, making it easier for players with smaller hands to hold down the strings and challenge a more technical playing style.
This is a specification that will make you realize how fun it is to play.

Slightly Down-sized Body

The body shape is slightly downsized from a traditional bass. This makes it easier for smaller players to hold and focus on playing comfortably.

Graphtec TUSQ Nut

he nut is the world standard “Graphtech TUSQ nut”, which is used by top class luthiers and manufacturers.
The TUSQ nut is designed to transmit the vibrations of the strings from the body to the bridge without wasting energy, and to produce a rich sound from highs to lows and even overtones.
The TUSQ nut also allows the strings to slide easily, which contributes to the stability of tuning.

Turbo Swtich Function

When the tone pot is pulled up, the neck pickup and rear pickup are connected in a series connection, producing a fat humbucker-like sound. This gives you a wide range of sound creation even though it is a passive circuit.
