The「Deviser One Day Guitar Show 2024」is upon us!!
The Deviser One Day Guitar Show is held every year around November and our craftsmen from each Deviser brand present limited edition and new products they have created with the full extent of their skills!
In addition, information on the event models is being teased daily as we get closer to the day of the event in the “Deviser One Day Guitar Show Preview Page”!
In today’s article, we want to introduce a couple of models with a light coloring that incorporates the colors of nature!
Color scheme incorporating that of 2014 limited edition models
In 2014, the WOODLINE DX5/E EWC/BP and WOODLINE DX5AC/E EWC/BP were released as limited edition models from the Bacchus Handmade Series.
These models, with their impressive burl poplar grain and coloring inspired by the richness of nature, received a great response and popularity at the time.
These models, with their bold expression of burl wood grain, were also the starting point of the popular EWC (Exotic Wood Custom) series, which generously uses wood selected from all over the world by the Aska workshop craftsmen.
And now, three new models have been added to the Bacchus JT Series, successfully incorporating the “SYP (Someiyoshino Pink)” and “KRB (Keiryu Burst)” coloring of these original burl poplar models!
「TACTICS24-BP/M」
The “TACTICS24-BP/M” is a new variant based on the popular “TACTICS24” model with its modern style and a new coat of paint.
The light coloring and maple neck give it a soothing overall atmosphere, while the strong grain of the burl accentuates it, making it a real one-of-a-kind model!

Lock-type machineheads
Locking Tuner (Locking machine heads), feature a mechanism in which the rod in the string post rises when the wheel on the back of the tuner is turned, and locks when the string is clamped. By reducing the number of windings on the string post, tuning stability is dramatically improved.
Locking machine heads also have the advantage of reducing the time required for string changes and tension fluctuations, since it is a mechanism that clamps the strings and does not require many windings.
Heel-cut & Back contour
The heel-cut construction, which eliminates the neck plate, allows for high playability at high frets. In addition, the contoured body back makes playing for a long time much easier thanks to the comfort it brings to the table.
「WL4-BP/M」&「WL5-BP-AC/M」
This model is now also available in the WL (WOODLINE) series, which has become a major staple of the Bacchus brand!
You can choose from two models, the WL4-BP/M, a 4-string passive bass, and the WL5-BP-AC/M, a 5-string bass that can be switched between active and passive, both available in both colors!
WOODLINE series standard turbo switch（WL4-BP/M）
The “turbo switch” familiar to WOODLINE models is also featured on this model. Pulling up the tone knob turns on the turbo switch, which connects the two single pickups in series to produce a fat humbucking pickup-like sound.
When the turbo switch is on, the volume is controlled by the front Vol knob. The rear Vol knob is bypassed in this mode.
Active circuit for flexible sound-making（WL5-BP-AC/M）
Like the active models in the Handmade series, it is equipped with a 2-band EQ to support intricate sound-making during performance. By switching the mini-switch, it can also be used as a passive bass.
Brass neck plate (common to both models)
The back plate is an original brass neck plate with high specific gravity. It is heavier than conventional products and features a dense bass tone that extends into the mid-low range.
